Yorleni’s Story

For Yorleni and her family, prevention strategies were key to overcoming barriers that could have led to homelessness. This year, the roof on Yorleni's house needed to be repaired and she was scheduled for open heart surgery, making it difficult to be able to allocate resources to cover utilities. She reached out to Avenue of Life, and together we helped her family find housing stability and support.
